Changes to the UKAS Management System Accreditation Mark

Changes to the UKAS Management System Accreditation Mark

UKAS has introduced a new ‘generic’ management system accreditation symbol that must now be supplied to all existing certified clients. This replaces the current CI and UKAS combined mark (found at the bottom left hand corner of all CI accredited certificates).
It is a requirement that any existing “specific” management system accreditation symbols, i.e. those that include the type of management system underneath the UKAS symbol, must cease to be used by 31 August 2014.
What happens now?

In order to ease the transition, we are providing the new Mark to our clients before this deadline, so that clients have a chance to change the logos at their next stationery order rather than leave it until August 2014.

All CI certificates issued after 30 September 2010 (whether they are a first issue or reissue) will carry the new UKAS symbol and clients will automatically be provided by email with an updated electronic version of the Combined Mark for their stationery, website etc.
If any clients would like to receive their new logo earlier than the next certificate issue date (if stationery is being ordered sooner or websites are being redesigned etc), please let us know and we will be happy to oblige.
Please do not hesitate to contact your local CI office if you require any further information or clarification.
