Certification International works with organisations across the world to help them improve performance in key areas, such as quality and environment.
This weekend, a team from the Certification International UK office will be putting their best foot forward for a 5km run in aid of a charity which wants to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients around the world.
Led by uk business manager Emma Fawcett Jones, the team of Beki Byers, Hayley Mines, Aija Dabola and Roxy Rea will be taking part in Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life in Swindon.
Cancer Research UK is the world’s leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. It fights cancer on all fronts, finding new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat it to save more lives. Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work. Cancer has touched everybody at some point which is why the Certification International team decided to participate in the event to raise money for the worthwhile cause.
The team is aiming to raise £1,000 for Cancer Research UK. Every pound donated really does make a difference. The Team is well on its way to achieving their target, but if you’d like to help them reach please visit the Just Giving page – http://www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/team-ci. By sponsoring them it will help more people survive cancer.
The team has been working hard in training, and we’ll let you know how we get on after the event.
Many thanks for your support.
